Cheers to 2016, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful evening ringing in the New Year!
Who's ready to kill it in 2016? Me, me!
As I mentioned in last week's post, this year, Shawn and I chose to head downtown to join in Chicago's inaugural Chi-Town Rising event at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. And, what an extra special celebration it was, y'all!
In years past, we have either been traveling or typically enjoy a more intimate, low-key night out with close friends, but when the Hyatt invited us to join in this years festivities, how could we possibly say no, am I right?
The city felt absolutely magical and was lit by skylights up and down the river, and of course, the first ever Rising Star. Although Shawn and I considered ringing in 2016 outdoors, front and center near all of the action of the bands, the Hyatt gave us the ultimate VIP treatment with an exclusive suite with access to fireworks, bottomless champagne, a full top-shelf open bar, carving station, king crab claws and so much more! Don't even get me started on the dessert bar!
And, what's a celebration without great friends and blogger babes?
Together, Kit, Lauren, Maya and their significant others watched Chicago's most incredible fireworks show along the river front and danced the night away to none other than Justin Bieber (yes, I'm a proud Belieber - aren't you?) :) I think I burnt a few hundred calories in the last hour of the night alone!
It was truly a blast and a fantastic way to kick off 2016!
A huge thank you to Chi-Town Rising and Hyatt Gold Passport for partnering with us for this incredible evening! I am so thankful for everyone who comes to A Lily Love Affair every day and supports the brands and companies that all us to bring you great content. I can't wait to share more with you all in 2016! Hope to see you back tomorrow for more style posts!
XOXO,
Anna
Happy New Year, Anna! Hope it's the greatest yet!

Several workplaces are embracing Office activities. An important part of corporate events NYC is participants' reflection and discussion about the activity, how they approached the situation, and possible points of learning.
