Every now and again I get the itch to pick up and try something new. To pack up or sell the majority of our belongings and head for a new town with new beginnings.
I've run the idea past Shawn a number of times over dinner, and if I look back, I can almost bet the majority of those requests are made this time of year. Maybe it's the longer, dark days, the incredibly chilling temperatures or the long commutes that drives me completely batty this time of year. But, every time my eyes catch this skyline I fall madly in love with this city all over again. If you haven't visited, I highly recommend you do! In the Spring or Summer, of course :)
Rumor has it temperatures will be falling below zero over the weekend - yikes! Is it Spring Break yet? I've been surviving the winter thanks to these cold winter essentials from Orvis. This coat is not only chic, but a complete life saver. It's not overly 'puffy' like my North Face which makes it perfect for these chilly winter temperatures, but equally fitting for warmer days in early Spring. And, can you deny the fabulous leather details?
I hope you're all having a great week so far! Anyone else have a long weekend with Monday off work? What are your plans?
XOXO,
Anna

I love this post Anna!! The skyline is really showing off! Even when Chicago is bitter cold, the city is still beautiful! :) I do the same thing this time of year too -- I'm trying to convince Eddy that should move to Texas or someplace that is warm year around! These long hold days are hard!!

Every time you blog and don't die from taking photos outside in Chicago you should get a gold star! For real!
