Nothing feels better than finalizing a warm weather vacay while looking out the window at child size snow flakes.
Shawn and I just put the finishing touches on our trip to Mexico this Spring. In years past, we have booked our trips at the end of March during folks typical spring break periods, but this year decided to push up the dates to the end of February.
Despite our above average temperatures this Winter, I have been suffering from a severe case of Seasonal Depression. Poor Shawn has been putting up with my less than mild temper and consistent mood swings these last few weeks. For one reason or another, this year I've been suffering more than usual. With the trip officially booked, be on the look out for vacation essential posts. Is anyone else so ready for warm weather like me? Ugh, let it be here, please!
While the incredibly cold temperatures are here, though, I've been making it through by investing in bright, colorful accessories. I recently feel completely in love with this vintage yellow Chloe clutch bag - it's my new jam! It's large enough to fit all of my essentials and the bright hue puts the biggest smile on my face.
And can we talk about this gorgeous, rose gold watch from Jord? I have been such a long time fan of their collections. The wood make and design are so unique and set this watch apart from any others in my collection. This particular piece spoke to me for it's Swarovski crystal markers. It's both elegant and classic - most certainly a conversation starter! It's pairs beautifully with my new cloest crush - this Tart Collection faux leather dress, but I am even more excited to style it with just about everything in my closet this Spring & Summer. I think it will shine brilliantly again a classic all white dress and a tan! Not to mention, it makes for a gorgeous gift this Valentine's Day, don't you think?

Going through seasonal depression as well! I just miss the heat of the sun and how everything is so much brighter and happier! Love that dress though! It looks amazing on you and what a great way to incorporate winter brights!

I have never seen a Chloe bag quite like this one and I can't think of anything that would suit your style more perfectly! I completely understand what you mean about seasonal depression, too, sadly - we've had a mostly beautiful winter but the second the rain returns, which is has, I become a very unpleasant person to live with. I'll be living vicariously through your vacation since our own for this winter isn't planned or booked yet!
