Holiday Style: The Gold Tweed Skirt

This look just gets my little heart singing for the holiday season.

Each piece makes for great closet staples and are very versatile.  I am a huge fan of a good plaid shirt, but this one won my heart for the more thick material, the fact that the plaid background is actually black and not navy like so many others, and for the adorable addition of he ruffle detail near the buttons.  

And, who could resist this great gold skirt?  I knew I had to have it immediately.  I love the coated tweed material which gives it a little sheen and the pleated front.  This skirt is appropriate for the holiday season and well into your New Years celebrations. Great news, almost everything in today's look is on sale!

    One of my girlfriends recently bought this skirt and it was all I could do not to steal it out of her closet - it's just so pretty!! I absolutely love the way you styled it, too; you look so festive and yet not at all like a walking Christmas ornament, which is no easy feat ;)
