This season, we have been really lucky and blessed with more mild temperatures.  Today, rumor has it we'll be in the 60's again so keeping warm has been as simple as a few chic layers and a light coat over the shoulders (thank goodness!). 

Y'all know I love color, but this black and white has won my heart.  But, no look in my closet is complete without a little mixed prints. I broke back out these great floral heels which I've had in m closet for the last few years to give this more classic black and white look a bit more pop.

This fair isle sweater is one of the softest, most comfortable sweaters I have put on all season.  I love the mock neck for a little more coverage on cooler days and the ad longer length. And, of course, to why what would a more monotone look be without the addition of a vibrant color in the coat.

I also bought this Stadium Cocoon coat last year before our trip to New York and I have to say it was a purchase I am thankful for.  This style comes in 8 different colors and is very warm and cozy.  Because it is a bit oversized, I did choose to size down one size.

In J.Crew coats, I also typically purchase them in petite sizes so the arm length is right, but I ended up buying a misses in this style and it worked out great.  If you're not someone that likes to, or are not comfortable with, adding a lot of color to your wardrobe, a rich, vibrant coat is a great way to start adding color to your closet.
