There are two things this week I have had a really hard time wrapping my head around.
1). Thanksgiving is next week. Like, in less than 7 days next week. Mind. Blown.
2). They are calling for the first official snow fall for the later part of the year here in Chicago Saturday. I can't quite decide if I should be really excited to play in the snow or if I should be doubling down on Spring Break plans. Stat!
Nonetheless, we've been really lucky with great weather so far so I'll commence the complaining. For now that is.
With the cool weather upon us though, I have started to add on the layers. I have never been a huge fan of cardigans (anyone else with me?), but in the last year have really started to find value in them as a wardrobe staple. They are a great way to add dynamics to a look while remaining chic and stylish.

This season I have been particularly fond of burnt oranges so you can imagine how I immediately fell in love with this cardigan from Chadwicks. I recently styled this cape and from Chadwicks and am such a fan of the quality of their work - not to mention the affordability. This particular cardigan comes in 10 spectacular colors as well and is the perfect layering option for this Fall and Winter!
I hope you all are having a great week so far and aren't too overly stressed about the upcoming holiday!
Also, don't miss your chance to enter the Stuart Wetizman + $600 Nordstrom giveaway OR the additional $500 Nordstrom giveaway we have running! It's the perfect gift for yourself or that special someone!

At first I didn't even realize you had another top underneath your sweater - that's how well you layered in this look! And I love it. It's gotten about as cold as it will get for the year in Vancouver already, which is to say not very cold at all, but to us it feels freezing, so I've been all about layers lately, but I tend to reach for the same ones over and over. Definitely taking a little inspiration from you for my next layered look!

I'm not the best at styling cardigans so typically I stay away from them unless they're an open style and longer. But, I LOVE how you layered yours over a classic striped turtleneck! So cute! And I'm loving the skirt/boots combo! Perfect fall look!
