Is anyone else as over-the-moon excited the holiday's are here? Thanks to my good friend Leigh Anne, Halloween has become one of my all-time favorite holiday's. It's the holiday to kick off the seasons festivities - not to mention - the PERFECT holiday to kick your "hostess-with-the mostest" butt into high gear. And how stinkin' cute are all of these entertainment essentials from Crate & Barrel? They are always my one-stop-shop for holiday and entertainment must-haves!
If you're anything like me, you love to entertain. I have always loved a house full of close friends and family. And naturally, when I'm building my entertainment foodie list, I typically start with a list of must-have specialty cocktails to get my guests feeling extra warm and festive.
I recently came across this receipe thanks to a close friend and particularly love it as I think it's a great fit for both your Halloween and Thanksgiving holiday parties (or any parties in between!).
So, raise a glass to your awesomeness as a hostess with this simple, yet fun recipe! And cheers to all of your festive holiday party plans!
Apple Cider Sangria
1 bottle (standard size) of pinot grigio
2 1/2 cups fresh apple cider
1 cup club soda
1/2 cup brandy
3 honey crisp apples, chopped
3 pears, chopped
Directions:
Combine all ingredients together and stir, stir, stir. Refrigerate for an hour or so (or longer!) before serving.
