Is anyone else totally digging the cape trend this season like me?
With the holiday season looming, I love the cape as an alternative to a heavy coat. The longer length of this option from Akira as it matches the length of most of my dresses for the season. I also love it paired with a simple tee and skinny jeans.

Ellen, you are so right! I am still searching for a nice coat that I think goes well with a nice dress for a cocktail party, etc. I love the Kate Spade option with the bow, but it's really pricy. Love your suggestion!

I love the idea of the cape trend. I love seeing people wear it beautifully, as you do here - and with bare legs, no less! Chicago must be having some amazing weather. But every time I put on a cape, I feel awkward, like I don't quite know what to do with my arms. Some styles don't work for everyone, and the cape is one I'm happy to admire on others :)

Love this look! I actually just bought a cape-type poncho shawl for layering over sweaters or jackets when I get really cold. Your shoes look so beautiful, and the matching polish make it all PERFECT!!! hah!
