For the last few years close girlfriends and I have gone back and forth debating the switch from the two-piece to one.  I've fought the move kicking and screaming as it's been difficult to find one-piece swimwear that's youthful and still makes me feel sexy.  It becomes even more difficult when your body type is not proportionate.  As a petite gal with a smaller chest and thicker hips and thighs, finding a one piece that fits my needs has been more difficult than I might like.
