Spring is Springing, Y'all!

Spring is springing, y'all!  

I think the weather this weekend turned around for the better for just about all of us and we couldn't be happier about it.  Naturally, that means we can officially ditch the coats and jackets, right? Of course.  

Well, maybe not officially, but one thing I am certain about is I finally feel like I am in the safe zone investing in Spring and Summer pieces I can wear now while the temperatures are a bit cooler, but that I will also get great use of when the temperatures continue to climb.  

One of those pieces is this pleated midi dress from Banana Republic.  I picked it up during this weekend's 40% off sale and love the crop-top detail without actually being a crop top.  Some of the reviews said it did not fit petites well, but I disagree.  I purchased the dress in misses and actually like the longer length.  It's a great dress for any of your Spring or Summer occasions including pairing with a light jacket for the office or adding a more colorful, patterned heel for date night or drinks with the ladies. You will not be disappointed! 

Also, I have become such a big fan of shopping with the online boutique, The Shopping Bag!  They have a great selection of goodies at very affordable prices.  One of the pieces I love from their latest collection is this statement beaded necklace.  I will also be packing it for next week's vacation and plan to wear with a simple white dress and off the shoulder top with distressed denim shorts.  Bonus, they are currently running a sale site wide with 17% off perfectly times for St. Patrick's Day (my favorite holiday!).
