I've said this before, but it bears repeating. One of my favorite things about blogging is having the opportunity to build connections and relationships with brands that give back to the community. Today I wanted to take the opportunity to shine the light on these brands with a quick recap of some of my favorites.
I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoy reading about these truly impactful brands!
Also, don't miss your chance to enter our $800 giveaway!

Compassion Brands - Don't Be a Bully
Bouquets come wrapped in recycled coffee burlap and cases range from reclaimed wood to vintage tins. Not to mention, they hand deliver for free in the Chicagoland area. And when I say hand deliver, I mean by real people, on the cutest bike rain or shine. Get to know you're courier, too, as you might see him or her often and if you're nice, they may even surprise you with a bottle of wine or case of beer. What's not to love? And yes, that has actually happened. :)
As if all of that isn't amazing enough, a portion of the proceeds from each Flowers for Dreams purchase is donated to a local Chicago charity.
Project Village uses the love of bracelets to employ and empower underprivileged young women in Toronto. With each purchase, you are creating an opportunity for a woman to earn a living wage by hand crafting your bracelet. In addition, a donation is given from each bracelet to support the programs that will empower her life through a strategic partnership with The Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women's Empowerment
Created by model/activist, Lauren Bush (recently Entrepreneur Magazine as 6 Innovative Women to Watch in 2015), FEED's mission is to create good products (and stylish if you ask me!) that help feed the world. They do so through the sale of FEED bags, accessories and apparel by building a set donation into the cost of each product. Ultimately, FEED believes everyone has the right to basic human necessities, such as healthy and nutritious food.
Lauren first created the FEED bag 1, a reversible burlap and organic bag reminiscent of the bags of food distributed by WFP (World Food Programme), to help raise funds and awareness around the world. It was stammped with "FEED the children of the world" and the number '1' to signify that each bag provides enough meals to feed one child in school for one year.
Thereafter, every product sold has a measurable donation attached to it and, to date, the social business has been able to provide over 87 million meals globally through the WFP and Feeding America.
This is such a good product roundup! Plus it's so good to see these outfits again!
ReplyDeleteThe products are truly amazing and I just love the cause behind it.

I absolutely love this Anna! I mean what could be better than supporting a brand that has such a great mission. The one thing that stood out to me the most was the anti bullying one, I definitely need to pick up something since it's something I'm incredibly passionate about. You should check out Umano! They are basic tees with a special design on the pocket, designed by a small child and proceeds go to purchasing a backpack and supplies for all children in need. I think you would love their stuff!

I love when brands have something they believe in and support. I especially love ones that are more than just support for the environment. Don't get me wrong, I think that's important, I just like seeing help for people like the anti-bullying one.
