Before I get started I want to welcome everyone to 2015! I hope you all rang in the new year in the most fabulous way possible (even if that included your comfy pjs with a yummy glass of wine!) I can't wait to see what 2015 brings for us all! I am so thrilled to have you along on the journey!

If you have followed the blog for some time, you know there are a few things at the top of my list of style "favorites" including the fabulous midi skirt and my love for mixing prints. What I often find difficult on occasion are incorporating some of my favorite styling options at the office. I want to express my personal style while still remaining professional and poise.

I love this Banana Republic midi skirt for both office and play. Style with a blouse and heels, it translates very well for the office (while still allowing my to add my own personal styling touches). This skirt is a great purchase as it is a skirt you can wear all year round. Not to mention, it has pockets which immediately puts it at the top of my list! If you consider purchasing the skirt, I would recommend going up a size as it runs a bit small. Otherwise, the make, material and fit are perfect!
