Chicwish Midi Skirt

I recently styled this great midi skirt for a holiday look last month, but today I wanted to change gears and show you how you might be able to style slightly more casually (in comparison to the holiday look).  Of course, I still wanted to give the look a bit of dimension and color so I added a stripe perfect shirt, one of my favorite plaid scarves from the season with a pop of red in the heels!

I also love this skirt for the summer with a great crop top and scrappy sandals for an evening look or a perfect white tee, jean jacket and layered necklaces for brunch with my gals.  I'd love to hear your thoughts!

How would you style the skirt?

Also, I've teamed up with some fabulous blogger babes to offer you two great giveaways just in time for Spring!  Don't miss your chance to win $700 Cash Giveaway and/or a $500 Nordstrom Giftcard!  Good luck!

XOXO,
Anna

    1. I absolutely love them too, Allie! I have a smaller waist, but with bigger hips and a butt so pencil skirts just dont look as good on my most time - or they gap in the back. I have found midi skirts are perfect! I love this one, too. It was really inexpensive, but is really well made - not to mention super comfortable :)

  8. This look is so lovely! You have such versatile style. I manage to get stuck in any given piece's original purpose... a dress is a dress, a formal skirt is a formal skirt, etc. But you provide such great inspiration for mixing, matching, and giving new life to pieces.

    1. Thank you so much, Katie! In years past that was exactly my mentality too! I then found myself with a closet full of items I would only wear once, or many times, but always with the same look. I have no idea when I started to branch out, but I am always looking for ways to make the items in my closet more versatile.

  13. Obsessed with how you dressed down that skirt! Those red pumps are just to-die! And, you must share your secret of how you tied that scarf - I have the same one from Target (in 2 colors...), but I can't ever get it to work that well! I end up wearing it over my shoulders as more of a shawl most often - help!

    1. Thank you so much for the sweet compliment! I love the skirt and scarf! For the scarf, I took one end (keeping that end just a below my shoulder in front), wrapped the long end around my neck once and then took the opposing end and looped it through. Does that make sense? :)

    1. It's a must for me. I have to be able to style it multiple ways in order to justify the purchase. I hope to never be a blogger that never wears the same thing twice. It's just not realistic in my opinion :) Hope you're having a great week! XO

  26. This is beautiful Anna! All of the elements are perfect together. I have the same skirt in pink, but haven't worn it yet because I feel like it overwhelms me. I'm thinking about having it hemmed because I really do love it.
