GrandeLASH Review

I have been honest with you all here on A Lily Love Affair in saying I know very little about things related to make-up and beauty products. In the last few months, I have discussed I wear very little to no make-up (with the exception of mascara and lipstick) day-to-day and therefore have not brought you a lot of content as it relates to beauty products or lines.

However, as I get older, I have tried my best to invest more in my skin care and beauty routine and share with you the results I have seen (or not seen) with various products I have tried.

Because I don't often spend as much money or time on make-up overall, the two areas I do focus on, lips and eyelashes, I try to invest in products that really allow me to focus in on and highlight these areas.

My Routine & Thoughts: For the past 4 weeks, I have been applying the GrandeLASH MD before bed each evening.  The application is easy and applies almost identical to how you would apply eyeliner - both to the top of your lash line and bottom.  I was initially concerned the conditioner would irritate my eyes while sleeping, but I was pleased to find that was not the case in any way.  

After a few weeks of use, I have seen my lashes enhance, thicken and lengthen.  At this point, the tops of my lashes graze the middle of my eyebrows.  Yep, you heard that correct! I intend to keep using the product for the next several weeks as many other reviews I have read mention even greater results 8 weeks into product use.

My Routine & Thoughts: I have been using the GrandePRIMER prior to applying the GrandeMASCARA each morning/evening, when applicable.  While the application can look a little scary as it goes on to your lashes as a white cream, it has helped my lashes look more healthy and full overall.  I have also noticed it has made the application of my mascara significantly less clumpy and more smooth.  I usually wait several minutes for the PRIMER to dry, of course, before applying the mascara over.

My Routine & Thoughts: I have tried a number of mascaras over the years - everything from expensive brand names to your favorite drug store finds.  I found that after several weeks of use, GrandeMASCARA ranks near the top of my favorites.  The application brush is a larger for ease of application and results in smooth, overall coverage without clumps.  The color I have been trying is jet black where I sometimes like to use a black/brown for a more natural, daytime look.  I also have a tendency to sleep in my mascara (whoops!) and found this mascara did not irritate my eyes overnight or leave much 'smudge' under my eyes when I woke it.  

It is not a waterproof mascara from what I understand so if you are looking for that component, you may need to stick with whatever you are using currently.
