Cool Weather Essentials + Exciting Event Details!

While we've had some really great, and I mean really great weather here in Chicago these past few weeks, I hear the cooler temperatures on moving their way in.  With that being said, it's time for us to talk about some cool weather essentials. 

Let's start where we always do - with the shoes :) I haven't always been a long time fan of Uggs (Shawn hates them even more), but I have been so impressed with their newest collection this season - so much so that I also bought these killer booties.  I love this sneaker design, and can I tell y'all they are seriously so warm and comfortable. 

Now, I don't know about you, but when the cold weather hits us in Chicago, I find it absolutely impossible to find stylish accessories that are also suitable for my city commuting and day-to-day necessities - and by that, I mean the constant access I need to my phone.  Thank goodness for UR Powered!  These chic, soft leather gloves are built with smartphone, touchscreen technology which allow you continue to use your cell phone without the removal of the gloves themselves.  Bonus, they come in a multitude of different colors, including grey, brown and pink.  

Even more fabulous than the touchscreen gloves are the fur lined earmuffs with built in speaker and bluetooth compatibility.  Whether I am running errands, walking the dog, or traveling to and from the train for work or play, the earmuffs allow me to stay connected to both my phone for calls and play music with comfort and ease.  Great, right?!?  Genius, if you ask me.
